Intro to Mountaineering Course, March 21, 22, & 24

Just a heads up for anybody that will be in the Ogden area March 21, 22, and 24.  I will be teaching an Intro to Mountaineering Course through the Weber State Outdoor Program.  The cost of the course will be $45 for Weber State students and $50 for the general public.  This is the fourth or fifth consecutive year that this course has been taught, the third that I have been involved with the teaching.

This is an INTRO course, so the curiculum will be fairly basic.  It is  helpful to have a background in hiking/backpacking/climbing, but not necessary.  We will be discussing and practicing proper apparel/layering and equipment, avalanche safety, rope work and knot tying, crampon technique and self-arresting, and crevasse rescue.
